Zoé Soteres

Zoé Soteres is an actress, playwright, producer and artistic director based in Chicago, IL. She is a fourth year acting major at The Theatre School at DePaul University, and during her time there, has performed in The Winter’s Tale (Hermione/Camillo), A Work in Progress (Emmy), Three Antarcticas (Fae), Hedda Gabler (Hedda Gabler), and By the Way, Meet Vera Stark (Gloria Mitchell). Zoé also runs a theatre company, Duality Theatre Co., with her roommate and best friend, Izzy King. In June of 2023, Duality produced her playwriting debut, Indebted, which she also starred in, and in Spring of 2024 will put on her and Izzy’s adaptation of An Enemy of the People. When she is not performing or playwriting, Zoé loves writing poetry, reading, and listening to music on her Discman. She is very grateful to receive this scholarship and would like to thank her classmates and professors for inspiring her and helping her grow as an artist.
