Special offer for students and theatre artists of only $10.00 to attend the Sarah Siddons Society Benefit on Monday, November 14 at 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:15 pm) at the Watts Theatre at DePaul University’s Lincoln Park Campus. Sandy Duncan will receive the 2022 Sarah Siddons Society Award, hosting the evening is NBC entertainment and arts reporter, LeeAnn Trotter. We will celebrate Sandy Duncan’s musical theatre canon from The Canterbury Tales, The Boyfriend, The King and I, and of course, Peter Pan as performed by some of Chicago’s top musical talent. Confirmed as part of the evening is Mary Ernster and Kelvin Roston Jr., along with Isabella Andrews, Brittney Brown, Scott Gryder, Nathe Rowbotham and Angela Yu under the musical direction of Nick Sula.
Theatre arts scholarship recipients from Columbia College, DePaul, Northwestern and Roosevelt universities will also be recognized.
This is an evening not to be missed.
