New York Immersive Broadway Weekend

This is our sixth trip, and it usually sells out very quickly! We will see four of the most in demand shows of the season (and the option to add a fifth show), enjoy one dinner and two luncheons, where we will have exclusive Broadway guests. This unforgettable weekend includes two nights at the beautiful InterContinental New York Times Square Hotel.

THURSDAY, APRIL 23 (optional added fifth show)

  • 7:00 pm Giant. Following an acclaimed West End run and three Olivier Awards, GIANT tells the story of Roald Dahl and the true scandal that shook his legacy. Tony, Golden Globe, and Olivier Award-winner John Lithgow (Conclave, The Crown) reprises his extraordinary, career-defining performance as Roald Dahl. Written by Mark Rosenblatt, directed by Nicholas Hytner, and designed by Bob Crowley. Orchestra seats. Music Box Theatre, 239 West 45th Street.

FRIDAY, APRIL 24

  • Arrive at the InterContinental New York Times Square Hotel, 300 W 44th St. at Eighth Ave.

  • 4:30 pm – Welcome reception and dinner, orientation, and distribution of all theater tickets with special guest RAGTIME Conductor and Music Director, James Moore. Location TBA.

  • 7:00 pm – RAGTIME. This sweeping musical adaptation of E.L. Doctorow’s novel follows three fictional families in pursuit of the American Dream at the dawn of the 20th Century: Black pianist Coalhouse Walker, Jr. and his beloved Sarah, Jewish immigrant Tateh and his little girl, and a wealthy white family led by matriarch Mother. All grasping for the same dream, if only they can hold on to it. 

  • Featuring a lush score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, a stirring book by Terrence McNally and original orchestrations by William David Brohn, all of whom won Tony Awards for their work, RAGTIME weaves fictional narratives with real historical figures and events, creating a rich tapestry that blurs the line between personal struggle and national identity, making history feel both intimate and epic. 

  • Kewsong Lee Artistic Director Lear deBessonet (Tony-nominated for her celebrated 2022 revival of Into the Woods) directs a new production, envisioned for the grand Vivian Beaumont stage, starring Tony nominee Joshua Henry (Into the WoodsCarousel), Olivier and Grammy nominee Caissie Levy (HairFrozen), and Tony winner Brandon Uranowitz(Leopoldstadt, LCT's Falsettos). Orchestra seats, Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center, 150 West 65th Street

SATURDAY, APRIL 25

  • 11:00 am- Brunch with a speaker TBD at Bond 45, 221 W. 46th St. (between Seventh and Eighth Aves.).

  • 2:00 pm- Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York). It is a New York Times Critics’ Pick, “delivers lavishly on laughter, escape, and fantasy.”

  • Meet Dougal, an impossibly upbeat Brit who has just landed in New York City for the first time to attend the wedding of the father he’s never met. Meet Robin, the sister of the bride and a no-nonsense New Yorker with a lot of errands to do for the bride—including picking up the groom’s estranged son from the airport. These two strangers begin their journey together navigating New York City, secrets, and second chances. Orchestra Seats, Longacre Theatre, 220 West 48th Street

  • 8:00 pm- Cats: The Jellicle Ball- Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Andrew Lloyd Webber's worldwide phenomenon CATS is reimagined in a production that smashed records, won awards and left New York City purring. And now CATS: The Jellicle Ball ascends to Broadway in a kaleidoscope of glittering spectacle, iconic music and electrifying ballroom choreography that The New York Times calls “a lightning strike that sets joy free!

  • Broadway meets Runway in the fiercest event of the season, directed by Obie Award winners Zhailon Levingston and Bill Rauch, with choreography by Obie Award winners and New York City Ballroom legends Omari Wiles (House of Ricci) and Arturo Lyons (House of Miyake-Mugler).

  • And yes, Sarah Siddons Award recipient André de Shields and cast members from the premiere of Cats: The Jellicle Ball at Perelman Performing Arts Center will be in the Broadway production. Orchestra seats, Broadhurst Theatre, 235 West 44th St. 

 SUNDAY, APRIL 26

  • 12:30 pm – lunch with special guest, TBD, Red Eye Grill, The Pacific and Santa Barbara Rooms, 890 Seventh Avenue (between 56th and 57th Streets)

  • 3:00 pm Death of a Salesman  returns to Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre. Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf star in this American masterpiece alongside Christopher Abbott, with Ben Ahlers. Directed by Joe Mantello

    One man and his family are caught up in the pressures and delusions of living the American Dream. Miller's play is the story of a traveling salesman whose illusions of picture-perfect business and family life cave in on him. Orchestra seats, Winter Garden Theatre, 1634 Broadway at 50th Street

Price includes Orchestra seats to four shows (subject to change, based on availability) one reception/dinner with wine, and two luncheons/brunch with Broadway guests. Two nights at the InterContinental New York Times Square Hotel (including all taxes, fees and portage charges). Additional nights may be added at $395 per room per night, subject to availability. All taxes, services and gratuity charges including portage charges at hotel. Includes a $200 tax deductible donation per person to the Sarah Siddons Society. The optional fifth show, Giant, may be added for $205 per ticket. 

Not included: airfare, airport transfers, hotel incidental charges, local ground transportation, alcoholic beverages not outlined above.
