2022 Scholarship Recipient: Emily Ling Mei

Emily Ling Mei (She/Her), originally from Western Massachusetts, is a senior at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, attaining her BFA in Musical Theatre with a concentration in Dance. Emily is also a pianist and choreographer and is current Executive Director of Color Me, an entirely student-led organization that uplifts and empowers aspiring students of color within CCPA. Favorite roles include Ella in Cinderella and Alice in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Barn Theatre and Katharine Wright in Brothers Wright with Scantic River Productions. Up next, Emily will be playing Kendra/Jenna in Gloria at CCPA. Emily is honored to be a Sarah Siddons Scholarship Recipient and would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for all their faith and support!
