2025 Scholarship Recipient: Grace Volpe

Grace Volpe (she/her) is a fourth year Comedy Writing and Performance Major with a minor in Acting. She is from Baltimore Maryland and loves everything about the Chicago theatre scene but finds the seafood here underwhelming. In her time at Columbia, Grace has performed in multiple comedy nights, plays, and the comedy cabaret. (Both acting and co-head writing.) Grace has also performed with the Columbia improv team, won their cage match and performed a 4 show run at IO. In addition to her stage experience, Grace writes and performs for Vacation Television on YouTube. She is currently wrapping up her Comedy Studies semester with Second City and is graduating in May. Grace is extremely honored and excited to receive the Sarah Siddons Scholarship and can’t wait to continue to make em laugh!
