2025 Scholarship Recipient: Julia Yanosik Perez

Julia Yanosik Perez (she/her) is a senior Theatre and Creative Writing major in the Music Theatre Certificate Program and Playwriting Module at Northwestern University. Some of her favorite Northwestern credits include Bonnie and Clyde (Bonnie), February House (Erika), American Idiot (Tunny), and Three Sisters (Natasha). This winter, she looks forward to performing in Northwestern’s 83rd Annual Dolphin Show as Rusty in Footloose. When not onstage, Julia enjoys dramaturgy, developing new work, and has a passion for reading and writing personal essays. Julia would like to express her sincere gratitude to the Sarah Siddons Society for this scholarship, as well as her friends, family, and professors for all of their guidance and support.
