2024 Scholarship recipient: Kate Mcquillan
Kate Mcquillan
Kate is a senior in the Musical Theater program at CCPA. Originally from Pittsburgh, they studied and performed with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre and The Center for Theatre Arts. After moving to Chicago to further develop their skills, Kate is currently an understudy in Theo Ubique’s production of “Never Better” and will also contribute as a pit singer and understudy in the upcoming production of “The Secret Garden.” Their past credits include standout roles such as Wendla in Spring Awakening, Cassius in Julius Caesar, and Ernestine Blunt in Votes for Women. Kate is grateful and honored to be a recipient of the Sarah Siddons Society Scholarship.
