Scholarship recipient: KJ Sheldon

kj sheldon, Theatre Conservatory at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University

KJ is a senior Musical Theatre major with a Dance Concentration at CCPA/Roosevelt University. She has performed in multiple productions through the school including Urinetown, Who Will Carry the Word, Danceapalooza, and a Musical Theatre Collective. She has also choreographed the tap dances for the freshman showcases and other dance concerts for the theatre conservatory. Outside of school she has danced with MADD Rhythms tap company, “Rhythm ISS” reunion concert, and Chicago Human Rhythm Projects, “Stone Soup Rhythms”. She wants to thank all of her teachers, mentors, and family members who have supported her, and she can’t wait to see what the future holds!
