2019 Scholarship recipient: Lucas Johnson

Lucas Johnson is a proud senior Musical Theatre Major at CCPA/Roosevelt University. During his time at school, he has been apart of 4 MainStage productions including: The Venetian Twins (Lelio), Little Women (Mr. Laurence), The Pirates of Penzance (Pirate/Bobby), and

The Threepenny Opera (Ensemble). He was also the drummer/ Percussionist for both The Threepenny Opera and Anything Goes. Back in Texas, where he was raised, his favorite credits include: Chicago, Heathers, Pippin, American Idiot, Les Miserables, Rent and many more. As a dual citizen, he one day hopes to perform in his birth place of France using French, his first language.
