2021 Scholarship Recipient: Paul Danowski

Paul is an Oregon-raised actor, filmmaker, and singer, currently wrapping up his BFA in Acting at The Theatre School at DePaul University. Though the pandemic interrupted his in-person training, it did not interrupt his love for performing theatre and writing for film. Paul wrote several shorts throughout his junior year, one of which was awarded Best Experimental Short at Florana Film Festival in Los Angeles. Some of his favorite roles at DePaul include Trigorin in The Seagull, Amiens in As You Like It, and Charlie in Mudlarks. Paul also treasures the outdoors and hopes to inspire climate action through his creative work. In the meantime, you can usually find him running or working on his tennis serve.
