2021 Scholarship recipient: Ruby Gibson

Ruby Gibson is a senior theatre major and gender & sexuality studies minor at Northwestern University, where she has been seen in The 90th Annual Waa-Mu Show: The Secret of Camp Elliott (Riley), Tomás and the Library Lady (Library Lady), and the American Music Theatre Project's reading of People You May Know (Jo). When she’s not onstage, Ruby is a playwright, dramaturg, and arts administrator with a passion for new work. This fall, she looks forward to performing in Northwestern’s upcoming workshop of the new musical The Battlefields of Clara Barton. She is thankful to the Northwestern theatre community, both students and faculty, for their kindness and support.
