2021 Scholarship Recipient: Savannah Youngblood

Savannah Youngblood is an actor, musician, and poet in her fourth year at DePaul University as a BFA Acting Major. She is originally from Dallas, Texas, but has loved getting to experience and be a part of the theatre community in Chicago. Her favorite roles at DePaul include Jacques in As You Like It, Claire in Rumors, and Marjory in The Moors. She is so proud to have been a founding member of The Theatre School at Depaul’s artist collective for Asian identifying students as well as serving her community as a Theatre School student government representative. Outside of acting, she enjoys writing music and poetry, learning about astrology, and walking/dancing around the city.
