2022 Scholarship recipient: Tiyanna Gentry

Tiyanna Gentry {she/her/hers) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major Columbia College Chicago, originally from Nashville, Tennessee. She will be graduating from Columbia College Chicago next spring and plans to live in Chicago to pursue her Musical Theatre performance degree in the Chicago area. Tiyanna loves being with family and friends and is grateful for the many instructors who continue to support her dream of being an actress in Musical Theatre. Some previous Columbia College Chicago productions include Head Over Heels, 2022 Directed by Donterrio Johnson, New Stew, a New Student Production, in 2019 directed by Justin Brill. Some honorable awards of include The Spotlight Awards Best Actress winner and 2018 Jimmy Award participant. Thank you so much!
